I read it and was like WTF just happened. It’s not that kind of book.If you don’t like dark books, don’t read this one.Don’t expect a HEA. more xpect it to give you the warm fuzzys and make everything right. I didn’t know whether to breathe a sigh of relief or stay in shock.The last page does give the reader a feeling that there is some justice in the world. This is a plot within a plot.The end is touch and go. At first, this leads me to believe this in the main male character, it is not. While BDSM is mentioned in this book, it is not the central focus nor is it discussed in detail.There are some chapters labeled “monsters” pov. ![]() Rape, obsessive stalking, and violence are just some of the elements of this book. There's never even a spark of a true connection between these characters. That's the problem in this book we're told so much about these characters but we don't see it we don't get to watch these characters grow or change.
